Company:

Tonbo Biosciences

Product Name:

Ghost Dye™ Violet 450

Catalog Number:

13-0863-T500

Amine reactive dye that works well with in vitro cultured cells (used mainly for primary lymphocytes). Very bright in the Pacific Blue channel, and I can easily use a quarter of the recommended volume to get bright staining. Staining in PBS is easy enough (10 minute incubation is sufficient). Very low crossover into FITC and PE channels.

Results Summary

I picked this viability dye since I seldom use the Pacific Blue channel for my antibodies. I can maximize the number of channels open with this method, while avoiding compensation issues.
