The overall goal is to better understand HIV transmission. The specific purpose of this experiment was to try to tag other proteins with HSA (mouse heat stable antigen) for imaging and pull down purposes. This antibody was chosen because it reacts to the HSA sequence we used in cloning.

When probing with HSA antibody there is only one strong band just under 50kDA (representing fusion of our protein and HSA, expected MW is 35 for our protein and 15 for HSA).
