This reagent is a medium sensitive secondary antibody. We analyze samples of crude Arabidopsis thaliana (mouse-ear cress) protein extract from seedlings or later developmental stages and bacterial extracts. We use this specific antibody to determine whether the target is expressed in the plant by standard western blotting after incubation with a suitable primary antibody. This antibody works ok for detection using decent dilutions of up to 1:500, we tested several comparable products from various companies.
