Product Name:

Anti-Mouse Ea52-68 peptide bound to I-Ab Biotin (YA-E antibody)

Catalog Number:

13-5741-81

This antibody detects the Ea52-68 peptide bound to I-Ab MHC II molecules. This can be found in B6 x BALB/c mice, but not in either B6 or BALB/c homozygous mice. We used this antibody to investigate the functionality of the antigen processing and presentation pathways in different murine cell populations.

Results Summary

This antibody provided reliable, clear staining. In the attached picture, the gray line represents the background staining in B cells from a B6 mouse. The red line shows YA-E staining in B cells from a B6 x BALB/c mouse. This was extracellular staining.

Summary

The Good

Reliable, strong staining

The Bad

Biotin antibodies have the potential for increased background staining, but that was not seen here

The Bottom Line
