Tetro cDNA synthesis kit

I have used Bioline's Tetro cDNA synthesis kit for synthesis of cDNA using random hexamers as primer with E. coli RNA samples to measure gene expression by quantitative real time PCR. The kit was very specific and has high sensitivity in synthesis of cDNA. Started with 1 microgram of total RNA as input and got around 4 to 5 microgram of cDNA which was sufficient enough for my all qPCR assays.

One microgram of E. coli RNA was used in the synthesis of cDNA using random hexamers as primers to prime the reaction in a 20 microliter volume. The rest of the steps were followed according to kit's instructions. cDNAs were diluted into 1:10 and used as a template for qPCR assays.

Tetro cDNA synthesis kit performs well with bacterial RNA samples for synthesis of cDNA intended for qPCR assays. I have noticed very good yield with high sensitivity consistently over many times.

cDNA synthesised from Tetro cDNA synthesis kit was of good quality with sufficient yield for all my qPCR assays.
