We are interested in studying macrophage activation phenotypes in mice. We collect peritoneal exudate cells, and use flow cytometry to gate out the non-macrophage population. This antibody provides a bright signal on a channel that was useful for our panel.

Results Summary

Cells that are CD19 negative and CD11b positive are also F4/80 positive. This is a population of macrophages. Using the F4/80 stain, we can be more confident in the purity of our gating.
