For the Qiagen RNA extraction kit, this DNase digestion is an optional step depend on the sample. By selecting this step, just mix 70ul of RDD buffer with 10ul of DNase enzyme and add onto the column. Leave the column at room temperature for 15 min and it is ready to go to next step.
