This cell lysis buffer is used to lyse cells under non-denaturing conditions. The lysis effect is relatively mild and we use it together with other reagents and can get satisfactory total protein extraction.
Lysis cell or tissue

Freeze the tissue on dry ice and then biopulvorize tissue to smash it. Add in the reconstituted lysis buffer to mix and lyse at 4C overnight. Spin down the tissue and take the supernatant to detect the total soluable protein concentration.
Put the tube containing tissue and lysis buffer on the orbital shaker to help lysis.
Overnight lysis could normally extract satisfactory concentrations of total soluble protein from the tissue.
Lysis effect is mild and extraction is satisfactory
May need to mix with other proteinase inhibitor when lysing time is long.
This is a reliable lysis buffer that works for both cells and tissue.
