We used this product to culture glioma stem cells from a U87 cell line. The product is free from Retinoic acid (which induces differentiation), hence it gives better enrichment of glioma stem cells.

For 10mL - DMEM/F12-9mL,540uL, N2 supplement (100x)-0.1mL, B27 supplement (50x)- 0.2mL, bFGF (10ug/mL)-20uL, EGF (10ug/mL)-20uL, Penstrep-0.1ml, BSA (250MG/mL)-20uL. Mix it and filter it with syringe filter (0.22micron).
The growth factors are unstable, make the required amount of media every time.
The glioma cancer stem cells were induced from glioblastoma cells and confirmed with stem cell marker expression in immunoblot.
