These are good beads to be used for immunoprecipitations. They bind a variety of IgGs in different species and are compatible with the magnetic rack to separate them from IP slurry.

Protocol Overview

Add protein g slurry to magnetic rack and aspirate supernatent leaving the beads. Add beads to IP samples and conduct IP. After mixing, seperate beads from IP slurry and then heat with Proteinase K to remove proteins from beads.
