In the present study, mammalian cells were tested for p300 prorein levels in response to treatment. Equal amount of proteins were resolved in 4-14% gradient SDS- PAGE and western transferred onto a nitrocellulose membrane. The blot was then probed for p300 antibody which was purchased from EMD Millipore. Selection of antibody was based on picture shown in antibody flyer.

EMD Millipore's p300 CT antibody is excellent as claimed in antibody flyer. As expected, it gave a highly specific single band at the correct molecular weight. However, no effect of treatment on p300 levels was detected.
