This hot plate stirrer is used to warm up solutions in the lab. It is also used to mix solutions in the lab with a magnetic stir bar. This product has provided consistent results for many months in the lab.
Heating and Stirring Solutions

Put solution on to the platform. Adjust heat dial to desired setting and wait for solution to heat up. If you also want mixing, place in magnetic stir bar and adjust stir bar dial to desired setting.
Do not turn up stir dial so high that solution comes out of the solution container
The plate stirrer has given consistent results even after months of use.
