After electrophoretic separation of protein samples, it is often useful to stain the gel for proteins. While many companies offer non-hazardous G-250 formulations, this product was selected mainly because we order many other things from Life Technologies. It also works well and Life Technologies provides excellent documentation.

The Bad

More expensive than competitors

The Bottom Line

Maybe it's just in my head but this seems to work a little better than the Bio-Rad Bio-Safe stain. The manual is very informative. I suppose you could just download that PDF and use the information with a different manufacturer's stain.
