For this study, we wanted to examine fluctuations in the Treg proportions in the small intestine of mice in the healthy vs disease state. Foxp3 is one of the defining markers for Treg cells, leading us to utilize this antibody.

The antibody stains Treg cells very cleanly, allowing easy separation from other T-cells or immune cells in the gut.

Additional Notes

Permeabilization was done with the eBioscience Foxp3 Staining Kit. Staining appeared to be clearer with incubation in the Foxp3 staining kit Fix/Perm buffer overnight.
