This antibody was used in a study investigating the role of transcription factor Sox11 in the adult mouse retina. Several antibodies were tested, and only this one worked. Publication forthcoming.
Immunohistochemistry
Adult (P100) retinas from C57BL/6J mice, PFA-fixed and embedded in 4% agarose, then cut to 50 µm thick slices on a vibratome.
Diluted 1:500 in PBS, incubated overnight at 4° C.
4% BSA in 1x PBS
Pierce Donkey-Anti-Goat (SA5-10089) IgG cross-adsorbed and conjugated to DyLight 650, diluted 1:1000 in PBS, incubated for 2 hours at RT.

Confocal Microscopy
This antibody worked well for detection of Sox11 in retinal ganglion cells of adult mice.
Several other antibodies were tried (Santa Cruz sc-20096, Millipore AB5776, Biorbyt orb-101332), and among these, only the one from US Biological worked for Immunofluorescence.
Cheaper than competitor's product. Works great for mouse.
