I was testing to determine if hypoxia increased HIF-2alpha (EPAS1) levels in primary human epithelial cells. I used this antibody to detect HIF-2alpha in whole cell lysates from cells cultured in normoxic (21% O2) or hypoxic (0.5% O2) conditions. I saw a single band of the approximate expected weight that increased in hypoxia. This is a good antibody for detecting HIF-2alpha.
