Company:

US Biological

Product Name:

FNC Coating Mix

Catalog Number:

BRFF AF-10

We used this coating mix for culturing and expanding human corneal endothelial cells (HCECs). As HCECs naturally adhere to Descement's membrane in the anterior chamber of the eye, we chose FNC to most closely mimic the composition of the membrane as well as provide necessary attachment proteins to create a healthy substrate.

The Bad

The Bottom Line

Good product, does the job. Comes in 50mL bottles so they go fairly quickly and require a somewhat large volume to coat. Otherwise, they provide a great substrate for our cells and keep them attached.
