HIF1-Alpha is a trancriptional factor which is expressed upon deprivation of oxygen concentration and regulates several downstream targets. Therefore, in order to identify the molecular mechanism by which HIF1-alpha affects its downstream target we performed ChIP assay. Through a literature search we identified that HIF1´-Alpha binds at the promoter region of VEGF and tested the ability of this antibody for using in IP experiments. This promoter was used as a positive control for the antibody.
