Cryogenic Tubes and Vials

Cryogenic tubes and vials are necessary containers for storing biological samples in ultra-low freezing temperatures (generally below –80°C). These plastic consumables are generally made of high-quality polypropylene that withstands exposure to liquid nitrogen. Ideal products should also be certified to be sterile and free of contaminants such as endotoxins, mutagens, heavy metals, DNase, and RNase. They generally use a screw-type closure to ensure a tight cap seal that secures the sample. The caps are also designed to tolerate temperature and air pressure fluctuations and are often color-coded for easy identification and organizing of samples. Visit the supplier page for more information, including product features and storage instructions.
