PCR Tubes

PCR tubes are small, micro-scale plastic tubes that serve as vessel containers for PCR reactions within thermocyclers. In addition, they are also used in the storage and dilution of samples. PCR tubes are made of high-quality polypropylene and are generally DNase and RNase-free. They comprise of a pointed bottom, a cap, and walls that are smooth and uniformly ultra-thin. These features ensure consistent and optimal heat transfer to the sample. The perfectly fitted caps are tightly sealed in order to prevent the evaporation of the sample. PCR tubes, which can come in strip and well-plate formats, are compatible with most brands of thermocyclers and are autoclave safe. These consumables are widely used by researchers for PCR-based applications like qPCR, RT-PCR, and sequencing. Refer to the PCR tube supplier pages for more information, including format, quantity, and features.
