Arg-C Protease

Arg-C, also known as clostripain, is an endopeptidase that cleaves on the carboxyl end of arginine residues. The native enzyme, first isolated from Clostridium histolyticum, has an optimal pH between 7.4 and 7.8. Sequencing grade versions of Arg-C may be used for protein analysis applications by mass spectrometry. Browse Arg-C enzymes below and visit the supplier page for more details, including units of activity and applications.
