Description
Epithelial Cell Growth Supplement-2 (EpiCGS-2) is a medium supplement designed for the optimal growth of human normal esophageal epithelial cells in vitro. It is a sterile, concentrated (100X) solution which contains growth factors, hormones, and proteins necessary for the culture of normal human esophageal epithelial cells. The supplement is formulated (quantitatively and qualitatively) to provide a defined and optimally balanced growth environment that maximally promotes the growth of normal human esophageal epithelial cells in vitro. The supplement is designed as an additive for Epithelial Cell Medium-2 (EpiCM-2, Cat 4121) and should be used in conjunction with this medium. Note: Due to bovine pituitary extract (BPE) in the growth supplement, the color may vary with different lots and formation of lipoproteins can result in precipitates.
