Anti-RASSF5 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein Ras association domain family member 5. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 418 amino acid residues and a mass of 47.1 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is widely expressed across many tissue types. RASSF5 is believed to function as a tumor suppressor. Synonyms for this target antigen include Rap1-binding protein, Ras association (RalGDS/AF-6) domain family 5, Ras association (RalGDS/AF-6) domain family member 5, Ras effector-like protein, and ras association domain-containing protein 5. RASSF5 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of RASSF5 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. These antibodies are most commonly used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
