Anti-IDO1 Antibody Products

Anti-IDO1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein indoleamine 2,3-dioxygenase 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 403 amino acid residues and a mass of 45.3 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. It is notably expressed in many tissues, such as the colon and lung. A member of the Indoleamine 2,3-dioxygenase protein family, IDO1 is known to catalyze the first and rate limiting step of the catabolism of the essential amino acid tryptophan along the kynurenine pathway. The IDO1 marker can be used to identify CD141+ Myeloid Dendritic Cells.* Synonyms for this target antigen include INDO, indolamine 2,3 dioxygenase, indole 2,3-dioxygenase, indoleamine-pyrrole 2,3-dioxygenase, and IDO. IDO1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine and chimpanzee species.
