Anti-UTP1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target UTP1 is a known alias name of the protein PWP2 small subunit processome component, encoded by the PWP2 gene in humans. This 919-amino acid residue protein is known to be a part of the small subunit (SSU) processome, first precursor of the small eukaryotic ribosomal subunit. It is localized to the nucleus of the cell. Other synonyms for UTP1 include EHOC-17 and PWP2H.
