Anti-THPH3 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target THPH3 is a known alias name of the protein protein C, inactivator of coagulation factors Va and VIIIa, encoded by the PROC gene in humans. This 461-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in the regulation of apoptosis and proteolysis, among other biological processes. It is localized to the ER, Golgi, and is secreted of the cell and features O-glycosylated, N-glycosylated and phosphorylated post-translational modifications. Other synonyms for THPH3 include APC, PC, and PROC1. Some THPH3 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
