Anti-SIN1g antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The SIN1g antigen is another term for the human protein MAPK associated protein 1, encoded by the MAPKAP1 gene. The protein is known to function in cytoskeleton organization and the regulation of apoptosis, among other biological roles. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 522 residues and a mass of 59.1 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus, cytoplasmic vesicles, and cell membrane and it is widely expressed across many tissue types. The SIN1g protein is a member of the SIN1 protein family.
