Anti-GYF2 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the GYF2 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the GIGYF2 gene, which encodes GRB10 interacting GYF protein 2. This protein is known to function in DNA damage pathways, among other biological roles. The human version of GYF2 has a canonical amino acid length of 1299 residues and a protein mass of 150.1 kilodaltons, although 4 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. GYF2 is a member of the GIGYF protein family.
