Anti-PKBP1L antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target PKBP1L is a known alias name of the protein FKBP prolyl isomerase 1B, encoded by the FKBP1B gene in humans. This 108-amino acid residue protein is known to have the potential to contribute to the immunosuppressive and toxic effects of FK506 and rapamycin. It is localized to the cytoplasm of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is notably expressed in the heart muscle. Other synonyms for PKBP1L include FKBP12.6, FKBP1L, and OTK4.
