Anti-Osp94 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the Osp94 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the HSPA4L gene, which encodes heat shock protein family A (Hsp70) member 4 like. This protein is known to function in protein folding, among other biological roles. The human version of Osp94 has a canonical amino acid length of 839 residues and a protein mass of 94.5 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm of cells and notably expressed in the cerebellum and testis. Other names for this target antigen include APG-1, APG1, and HSPH3.
