Anti-NEP1-R1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the NEP1-R1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the CNEP1R1 gene, which encodes CTD nuclear envelope phosphatase 1 regulatory subunit 1. This protein is known to function in the metabolism of lipids, among other biological roles. The human version of NEP1-R1 has a canonical amino acid length of 125 residues and a protein mass of 14.3 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm of cells. NEP1-R1 is a member of the CNEP1R1 protein family.
