Anti-FBW6 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the FBW6 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the FBXW8 gene, which encodes F-box and WD repeat domain containing 8. This protein is known to function in cell proliferation and cilium assembly, among other biological roles. The human version of FBW6 has a canonical amino acid length of 598 residues and a protein mass of 67.4 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the Golgi and cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types.
