Anti-KCA antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target KCA is a known alias name of the protein casein kappa, encoded by the CSN3 gene in humans. This 182-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in protein stabilization, among other biological processes. The protein is secreted and features glycosylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to have mammary gland specific expression.
