Anti-GPR16 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target GPR16 is a known alias name of the protein leukotriene B4 receptor, encoded by the LTB4R gene in humans. This 352-amino acid residue protein is a known receptor for extracellular ATP > UTP and ADP. It is localized to the cell membrane of the cell and features phosphorylated and glycosylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be expressed at highest levels in the heart, skeletal muscle and at lower levels in the brain and liver. Other synonyms for GPR16 include BLT1, BLTR, and CMKRL1. These GPR16 antibodies are widely used in Flow Cytometry experiments, among other applications.
