Anti-HJTB antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the HJTB antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the JTB gene, which encodes jumping translocation breakpoint. This protein is known to function in the apoptotic pathway and the cell cycle, among other biological roles. The human version of HJTB has a canonical amino acid length of 146 residues and a protein mass of 16.4 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the membrane, mitochondria, and cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. HJTB is a member of the JTB protein family.
