Anti-hGCMa antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target hGCMa is a known alias name of the protein glial cells missing transcription factor 1, encoded by the GCM1 gene in humans. This 436-amino acid residue protein is a reported transcription factor involved in the control of expression of placental growth factor (PGF) and other placenta-specific genes. It is localized to the nucleus of the cell and features ubiquitinated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be highly expressed in the placenta. Other synonyms for hGCMa include GCMA and GCMA. Indicated applications for hGCMa antibodies listed below include Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
