Anti-Gie1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the Gie1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the ARL8B gene, which encodes ADP ribosylation factor like GTPase 8B. This protein is known to function in cell division, among other biological roles. The human version of Gie1 has a canonical amino acid length of 186 residues and a protein mass of 21.5 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the lysosomes and cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. Other names for this target antigen include ARL10C and ADP-ribosylation factor-like protein 8B. Indicated applications for Gie1 antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
