Anti-ERdj1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the ERdj1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the DNAJC1 gene, which encodes DnaJ heat shock protein family (Hsp40) member C1. This protein is known to function in protein folding, among other biological roles. The human version of ERdj1 has a canonical amino acid length of 554 residues and a protein mass of 63.9 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus and ER of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types.
