Anti-CEDNIK antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The CEDNIK antigen is another term for the human protein synaptosome associated protein 29, encoded by the SNAP29 gene. The protein is known to function in cilium assembly and exocytosis, among other biological roles. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 258 residues and a mass of 29 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane, cytoplasmic vesicles, Golgi, and cytoplasm and it is widely expressed in many tissue types. The CEDNIK protein is a member of the SNAP-25 protein family. Other alias names for CEDNIK include synaptosomal-associated protein 29.
