Anti-CENP-35 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the CENP-35 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the PHF2 gene, which encodes PHD finger protein 2. This protein is known to function in liver development and the regulation of transcription, among other biological roles. The human version of CENP-35 has a canonical amino acid length of 1096 residues and a protein mass of 120.8 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. This target antigen may also be known as GRC5.
