Anti-CALIF antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the CALIF antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the CNOT8 gene, which encodes CCR4-NOT transcription complex subunit 8. This protein is known to function in the regulation of cell proliferation, among other biological roles. The human version of CALIF has a canonical amino acid length of 292 residues and a protein mass of 33.5 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. CALIF is a member of the CAF1 protein family. Indicated applications for CALIF antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
