Anti-AQP2L antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the AQP2L antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the AQP6 gene, which encodes aquaporin 6. The human version of AQP2L has a canonical amino acid length of 282 residues and a protein mass of 29.4 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the cytoplasmic vesicles of cells and notably expressed in the kidney. This target antigen may also be known as KID.
