Anti-TRX6 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the TRX6 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the TXNDC8 gene, which encodes thioredoxin domain containing 8. This protein is known to function in cell differentiation and spermatogenesis, among other biological roles. The human version of TRX6 has a canonical amino acid length of 127 residues and a protein mass of 14.6 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the Golgi and cytoplasm of cells. TRX6 is a member of the Thioredoxin protein family.
