Anti-TA-WDRP antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target TA-WDRP is a known alias name of the protein WD repeat domain 36, encoded by the WDR36 gene in humans. This 951-amino acid residue protein is known to be a part of the small subunit (SSU) processome, first precursor of the small eukaryotic ribosomal subunit. It is localized to the nucleus of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is found to be expressed in the heart, placenta, liver, skeletal muscle, kidney and pancreas.
