Anti-Dlgh1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target Dlgh1 is a known alias name of the protein discs large MAGUK scaffold protein 1, encoded by the DLG1 gene in humans. This 904-amino acid residue protein is known to be an important multidomain scaffolding protein required for normal development (By similarity). It is localized to the cell membrane, ER, and cytoplasm of the cell and features ubiquitinated and phosphorylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is found to be highly expressed in atrial myocardium. The term SAP-97 is another synonym for Dlgh1.
