Anti-Cytochrome P450 family 2 subfamily E member 1 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene CYP2E1 in humans. The gene may also be known as cytochrome P450 2E1, CPE1, CYP2E, P450-J, P450C2E, and 4-nitrophenol 2-hydroxylase. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 56.8 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
