Anti-Transcription factor EB antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene TFEB in humans. The gene may also be known as ALPHATFEB, BHLHE35, TCFEB, T-cell transcription factor EB, and class E basic helix-loop-helix protein 35. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 52.9 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
