Anti-RPS13 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein ribosomal protein S13. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 151 amino acid residues and a mass of 17.2 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cytoplasm. A member of the Universal ribosomal protein uS15 protein family, RPS13 is a known component of the small ribosomal subunit. Synonyms for this target antigen include uS15, 40S ribosomal protein S13, small ribosomal subunit protein uS15, and S13. RPS13 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some RPS13 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
