Anti-ALPS1A antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the ALPS1A antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the FAS gene, which encodes Fas cell surface death receptor. This protein is known to function in the apoptotic pathway and immune response pathways, among other biological roles. The human version of ALPS1A has a canonical amino acid length of 335 residues and a protein mass of 37.7 kilodaltons, although 7 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cell membrane and is secreted of cells. This target antigen may also be known as APO-1. A number of ALPS1A antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. These antibodies are most commonly used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
