Anti-microfibrillar-associated protein 3-like antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the microfibrillar-associated protein 3-like antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the MFAP3L gene, which encodes microfibril associated protein 3 like. This protein is believed to participate in the nuclear signaling of EGFR and MAPK1/ERK2. The human version of microfibrillar-associated protein 3-like has a canonical amino acid length of 409 residues and a protein mass of 45.4 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cell membrane, nucleus, and cytoplasm of cells and notably expressed in the testis, skeletal muscle, liver, heart muscle, and epididymis.
